CNC TURNING Description: A manufacturing process in which bars of material such as wood, resin and metal blanks are held in a chuck and rotated while a tool/chisel is used to the piece to remove material to create the desired shape.
CNC MILLING Description: A machining process which uses computerized controls and rotating multi-point cutting tools or drills to progressively remove material from the workpiece such as wood or steel bars and produce a custom-designed part or product.
CIM Description: A manufacturing approach that provides a complete automation of a manufacturing facility. All the operations are controlled by computers and have a common storage and distribution.
