Safety Policy

It is the responsibility of UTeM as practically as possible to:
  • Create and sustain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Create and maintain a systematic, effective and active occupational health and safety management system in line with the related laws.
  • Create and maintain a safe work system and procedure and ensure the availability of appropriate and sufficient safety equipment at all times.
  • Nurture awareness through practices, briefings, notifications and educations in order to prevent, face and handle dangers at the workplace.
  • Create and disseminate information of signages of occupational safety and health at UTeM.
  • Review written policies, programmes and safety and health plans at UTeM as continuos improvements and effective reforms.
